If
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise ;
If you can dream and not make dreams your master,
If you can think and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same,
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken,
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools ;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings,
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss,
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you,
Except the Will which says to them : "Hold on!",
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And, which is more, you'll be a man, my son.
RUDYARD KIPLING
That’s such a perfect poem for this site. I love Kipling, and that this poem was written to his son who died in a war is an incredible history behind such a profound poem.
Are you trying to say that this site is attempting to accomplish what Kipling was writing about here?
If so that is quite interesting/surprising because it is certainly not easy.
Are you saying that you have accomplished what he calls “a man?”
If so then I would say you need some more content… (not to call you out)…
Anywho, great addition and ill be looking forward to your additional content, especially in the meditation and personal development sections.
Bye
Thanks for the comment.
We here with polymath-mind would say that we are quite devoted to personal development and balance. To accomplish this we use physical fitness, internal development and personal development to become as much like the “man” that Kipling describes here. (The content part is ongoing.)
The content we have is on here because we believe it to be effective.
If you try it then you will have results.
Thanks for that awesome posting. It saved MUCH time

Took me awhile to go through each of the comments, but I ultimately enjoyed the document. It proved to be tremendously practical to me and I’m sure to each of the commenters right here! It’s constantly great when you can not only be informed, but also engaged! I’m sure you had fun writing this article.
I memorized this piece by Kipling twenty five years ago and still draw on it today to help with my balance and getting my mind straight when things don’t seem to be going in the right direction.
Its very powerful, appropriate, and timeless.
